The Way to the Sea

The Way to the Sea is part of my Emotional Geographic series- imaginary landscapes created from memory, emotion and imagination.
This is not a real place but an emotional destination. A winding staircase leads through dense Mediterranean greenery toward the water, inviting the viewer to slow down and follow the path without knowing exactly where it ends.

The coral-colored architecture contrasts with the deep blue sea and the dark cypress trees, creating a balance between warmth and stillness. Every element is simplified to its essential form, allowing color, rhythm and atmosphere to become the true subject of the painting.

Rather than describing a location, The Way to the Sea explores the quiet journey inward - the moments when we choose calm over noise and presence over urgency.
