ABOUT ME

IMG_4166.png

Before I became an artist, I learned to survive through transformation.

I grew up in the world of competitive rhythmic gymnastics — discipline, control, repetition, and the constant demand to reshape the body.

Years later, my relationship with the body continued through movement and Pilates. From the outside, my life appeared structured. Internally, I was searching for ways to escape myself.

For a period of my life, escape took different forms — altered states, destructive habits, and the desire to silence the mind. What first felt like freedom gradually became another form of disconnection.

Art changed the direction of that journey.

Painting became a way back — not to the person I had been before, but towards the person I had never allowed myself to become.

My work is rooted in transformation. The female body, closed eyes, imagined gardens, animals, and saturated colour belong to my inner landscape.

I paint the space between escape and presence, control and surrender, who we were and who we are still becoming.

For me, art is not an escape from reality. It is the moment I finally return to it.
